Abstract: A system and method for thermal management of a battery pack has been disclosed herein. The battery pack includes a plurality of cells (102) and a plurality of battery modules (104) enclosed in a casing (110). Each battery module (104) is formed by a disposition of one or more cells (102) of the plurality of cells (102). The battery pack further includes one or more sensors (202) that detect a temperature value of each of the plurality of battery modules (104). The battery pack further includes one or more air-cooling devices (108) for blowing air towards each of the plurality of battery modules (104) based on speed regulation of the one or more air-cooling devices (108). The speed is regulated based on the detected temperature value, when the detected temperature value is higher than a threshold value.
