Abstract: The present invention is related to a battery charging system, this IoT-enabled smart battery charging system with GSM notification and automatic cutoff. The system employs an ESP32 (101) as the central microcontroller, connected to a voltage sensor (102), current sensor ACS712 (103), and temperature sensing probes (106) for real-time monitoring. A mux (104) and signal conditioning unit (105) ensure accurate sensor data processing. When the battery series TWBoV (109) reaches full charge, the ESP32 (101) triggers a relay (111) to disconnect the power supply, preventing overcharging. Simultaneously, the GSM module (110) sends SMS notifications to the user, updating charging status and cutoff events. Data is stored on a database server (107) and displayed through a user monitoring interface (108), enabling remote supervision. This integration of sensing, control, and communication provides a reliable, safe, and cost-efficient solution for battery charging, ensuring protection against overcharging while offering convenience through GSM-based alerts and IoT monitoring.
