The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a bassinet (100). The bassinet (100) includes a base frame (10), a platform (20), a top frame (30), and an actuation mechanism (36). The Top frame (30) is supported on the base frame (10). Further, the platform (20) is supported by the base frame (10) to accommodate the occupant. The actuation mechanism (36) is accommodated within the base frame (10). The actuation mechanism (36) includes at least one actuator (40a, 40b),a pair of transmission units (50a, 50b, 50c) and a control unit (60). Each of the pair of transmission units (50a, 50b, 50c) is connected to the ends (20a, 20b) of the platform (20). The control unit (60) is configured to operate the at least one actuator (40a, 40b) to regulate orientation of the platform (20) between a first orientation and a second orientation to improve the comfort of the occupant.
