Rigid Polylactic Acid (PLA) is used for the structural components, while Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) forms flexible joint regions that replicate natural finger bending and gripping. The modular configuration enables easy assembly, adjustment, and individual part replacement, reducing maintenance cost and complexity. Fixation is achieved using adjustable straps or biocompatible adhesive for stability during daily activities. The invention emphasizes low-cost fabrication, anatomical realism, mechanical performance, and user comfort, representing a significant improvement over conventional prosthetic options, particularly in resource-limited settings.
