Abstract: Today, human—robot interaction systems are gaining significant attention in the fields of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence, particularly inapplications that require precision, intelligence, and visual perception. The main objective of this invention is to design and develop a compact, low- cost, and intelligent 4-axis robotic arm with vision-based Tic-Tac-Toe gameplay, capable of _ interacting with humans in a structured and engaging manner. The proposed system comprises a USB webcam that continuously captures the Tic-Tac-Toe board and provides real-time visual input. A Raspberry Pi 5 is used as the primary processing unit to perform image processing, board state recognition, and game decision-making using intelligent algorithms to select optimal moves. The vision system identifies the grid structure and detects player moves accurately, enabling smooth human—robot interaction. An Arduino Mega is employed as the motor control unit to generate precise PWM signals for controlling multiple servo motors. The robotic arm is actuated using Pro-Range 0T5320M servo motors for major jointz movements and an MG9OS servomotor for end-effector or marker placement, forming a 4-axis motion structure. A regulated power supply using a 12V SMPS and buck converter ensures stable operation of all electronic components. The developed system demonstrates accurate motion c6ntrol, reliable vision-based decision-making, and effective coordination between hardware and software. This project highlights the potential of combining computer vision, artificial intelligence, and robotic manipulation for educational, entertainment, and research applications.
