Abstract: ABSTRACT In response to the growing need for affordable, compact, and precise automation systems in the beauty and creative design industry, our project focuses on developing an innovative 4-Axis Mehndi Applicator Machine. This machine is designed to provide a structured, accessible, and reliable platform for_automating mehndi application on hands and other small surfaces. It serves_users such as salons, designers, students, and beginners by offering an open-source, modular robotic system built using easily available components. The system ensures consistent performance, accurate pattern tracing, and safe operation during skin-contact applications. Users can assemble the machine using low-cost 3D-printed parts, standard stepper motors, and a controlled paste-dispensing mechanism, making the platform both economical and highly customizable. Once assembled, the 4-Axis Mehndi Applicator Machine can be programmed to perform various tasks such as applying pre-designed patterns, tracing user-imported designs, drawing outlines, or performing repetitive artistic strokes with precision. The centralized control interface ensures smooth coordination of all four axes, synchronized paste flow, and accurate execution of design paths. While users have the flexibility to modify or upgrade the mechanical structure, dispensing system, or software modules, the core system maintains stability, reliability, and controlled operation at all times. This 4- Axis Mehndi Applicator Machine addresses key challenges in automated mehndi application by offering a safe, transparent, and accessible tool that bridges the gap between traditional hand-drawn artistry and modern precision automation.
