Abstract: Present invention introduces a 3D printed orthodontic plier kit system with multifunctional replaceable tips and a method thereof. The system comprises of plier handles and tips that are 3D printed preferably made of high strength polymers. The system has a novel modular design allowing for quick replacement of functional tips with multiple designs without removing the entire instrument upon wear and tear of tips. The system of the present invention is presented as a kit comprising of plier handles, required number of tips with varying designs and coupling accessories. This invention therefore provides a versatile orthodontic plier system that integrates a multi-functional replaceable tip system tailored for multiple clinical uses such as wire bending, wire cutting, aligner surface modifications etc. to enhance precision, ergonomics, and clinical efficiency during orthodontic treatment procedures.
