MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057619 A) filed by Lanxess Deutschland Gmbh, Koln, Germany, on June 16, for 'yellow methine dyes and their use for dyeing plastics.'
Inventor(s) include Borst, Hans-Ulrich; Linke, Frank; and Schmauser, Sabine.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to substituted 4-amino-6-methylbenzaldehyde derivatives of the formula (I) as novel thermostable yellow methine dyes. The invention also relates to their use for dyeing plastics."
