According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an X-ray film hanger assembly (100) configured for suspending, retaining, and handling X-ray films during radiographic processing, drying, storage, and examination. The assembly (100) comprises a hanger body (102) having one or more grooves (104) and a plurality of detachable clips (108) removably mounted on the hanger body (102) through corresponding inserts (106). Each detachable clip (108) includes opposing pivotally coupled arms (110) resiliently biased toward a normally closed condition, rounded film-contacting edges (112), and an inner elastomeric lining (114) configured to cushion and frictionally engage an X-ray film. A pressure-exerting serrated area (116) enables controlled manual opening of the clip (108), while a marking or identification area (118) allows differentiation of individual films during simultaneous processing. The cooperative structure provides modular assembly, ease of handling, reduced emulsion damage, and adaptability to X-ray films of different sizes and formats."
