MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019803 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'writing tool holding device for book.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A writing tool holding device for book, comprising a rectangular body 101 positioned on a cover page of a book and equipped with a primary strap 102 for securing body 101 with book, multiples secondary strap 103 passes through multiple slots 104 for allowing a user to pass writing tools from underneath secondary strap 103 for holding writing tools with body 101, a first roller 105 rotate to fasten primary strap 102, a second roller 106 rotate for wrapping secondary strap 103 for securing tools with slots 104, a microphone 107 receives voice commands from user regarding writing tool required by user, an imaging unit 108 detects one of slots 104 stored with user-defined writing tool, in accordance to which one of secondary rollers 106 configured with determined slot 104, rotates in view of unwrapping strap, thus allowing user to access tool."
