MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521132282 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'worker physical assessment device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A worker physical assessment device comprising a physical assessment platform 102 with a housing 101 to support worker during evaluation, a height measurement unit integrated with housing 101 to measure height against predefined job-specific criteria, an inspection unit integrated with housing 101 to monitor facial expressions, eye movement, and behavioural indicators during assessment tasks, a document verification unit installed on platform 102 to scan medical prescriptions and extract worker identity data, a pulling strength evaluation assembly mounted over platform 102, consisting of a vertical rod 106, horizontal handle 107, compression spring 108, and tension sensor to apply variable resistive force and measure pulling strength, a lifting strength evaluation assembly to evaluate lifting capability under adjustable resistance, and a factory environment simulation module with a temperature sensor and speaker 112 to simulate industrial noise, temperature, and operational stress for assessment of worker capability."
