MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521134649 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'worker access and tool management device.'

Inventor(s) include Palle Vikas Reddy; Parsha Kamali; Dungala Bhagyavamsi; Dr. Madhu Shukla; Simrin Fathima Syed; Vipul Ladva; Akshay Ranpariya; and Neel Dholakia.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A worker access and tool management device, comprises of a kiosk 101 having an entry gate 102 and an exit gate 103, configured to allow linear worker flow from entry to exit, a biometric authentication unit 104 installed at the entry gate 102 to verify worker identity, a scanning unit 105 for detecting prohibited items with the worker, a plurality of lockers 106 to securely store detected prohibited items and personal belongings, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 109 for real-time monitoring of safety gear such as aprons and helmets for PPE verification, an analysis module to assign daily tasks to workers, display assigned tools, and receive task confirmation inputs, a plurality of compartments 110 along a side wall of the kiosk 101 and stored with various types of the tools to allow the workers to access designated tools for assigned daily tasks."
