MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010766 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Fe. 15, 2024, for 'wooden workpiece staining device.'

Inventor(s) include Sunil Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden workpiece staining device, comprising a housing 1 installed with a C-shaped unit 4 via a L-shaped telescopically operated rod 2 for staining workpiece, a touch enabled screen 5 installed on housing 1 for input command, a camera 6 mounted on housing 1 for capturing multiple images, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 7 configured underneath housing 1, plurality of electronic sprayer 8 attached with plurality of chambers 9 dedicated towards storage of different type of stains, plurality of pneumatic links 10 configured between member 3 and unit to extend/retract for orienting member 3, a laser sensor to detects shape of workpiece, a hot air blower 11 for drying stain applied over workpiece, a level sensor is embedded within each of chambers 9 for detecting level of the stains."
