MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017921 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'wooden log storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Shri Bhagwan.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a wooden log storage device, comprising an extendable platform 1 installed with a set of rods 2 attached with multiple set of members 3, wherein the members 3 are connected with each other via a pair of curved-shaped plate 4 for accommodating wooden logs, a camera 5 mounted on members 3 for detecting length of wooden logs, a drawer arrangement 6 integrated with the platform 1 and plates 4 to extend/retract for accommodating the logs, a pair of discs 7 attached with the set of members 3 to provide support to the logs, an expandable pulley arrangement 8 integrated within the discs 7 to increase/decrease the discs 7 diameter to support the logs, a touch screen 9 installed on platform 1 for enabling user's input details and an ultrasonic sensor positioned on disc 7 for detecting one of set of plates 4 stored with logs."
