MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018184 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'wooden log debarking device.'

Inventor(s) include Pavan Kumar Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden log debarking device, comprising a body 1 configured with plurality of omnidirectional wheels 2 for maneuvering the body 1 on a ground surface, an image capturing module 3 installed on the body 1 determining position of a wooden log, a telescopic rod 4 arranged on the body 1 that extends and position a U-shaped gripping unit 5 assembled on the rod 4 towards the log for gripping the log, a pair of grinding rollers 6 installed on the platform configured with plurality of pneumatic pins 7 for removing bark of the logs."
