MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007259 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'wooden log carriage assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden log carriage assistive device comprises of a cylindrical body 1 attached with a handle 2 to be gripped by a user, a wooden log positioned between a pair of curved-shaped bars 3 configured with the body 1, a camera 4 mounted on the body 1 for images of the wooden log for detecting length of the wooden log, a pair of threaded rod configured at tip portion of the bars 3, the microcontroller actuates a DC motor coupled with the rods 5 for rotating the rods 5, a speaker mounted on the body 1 for notifying the user to carry the wooden log, an angle sensor positioned on the member for detecting angle of the wooden log, the microcontroller actuates a pair of electromagnetic springs 6 incorporated between the bars 3 and body 1 to expand/compress for maintain an optimum angle of the wooden log."
