MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025632 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'wood pulping monitoring and management system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wood pulping monitoring and management system, comprising an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 1 mounted within a digester tank 2 for detecting presence of wood chips within the tank, plurality of load cells installed with the tank for detecting weight of the chips within the tank, a flow sensor 3 for detecting flow rate of white liquor flushed within the tank for digestion of the wood chips, plurality of rectangular members 5 installed within the tank via plurality of motorized hinges 6, wherein upon collection of the white liquor in the tank, a sensing module for detecting deposition of scale and corrosion of the walls of the tank, plurality of electronic nozzles 7 connected with a chamber 8 stored with a de-scaling solution for dispensing the de-scaling solution to remove the deposited scales from the walls of the tank."
