MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025610 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'wood pulp bleaching management system.'

Inventor(s) include M. Moni; Vikas Yadav; Alpana Joshi; and Vikas Kumar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wood pulp bleaching management system, comprising, multiple weight sensors associated with the system for detecting weight of wood pulp being fed in the tank 1, multiple electronic valves 3 to open for allowing supply of the chlorine within the tank 1 for bleaching of the wood pulp, a flow sensor for detecting flow rate of the chlorine gas, multiple via motorized hinges 6 to provide a to-and-fro motion to the flaps 5 for evenly mixing the wood pulp with the chlorine gas to allow proper bleaching of the wood pulp, a speaker for notifying an operator to collect bleached wood pulp from the tank 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging for detecting collection of the pulp from the tank 1, and multiple electronic nozzles 8 for dispensing water to rinse the tank 1."
