MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105044 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'women's safety and anti-snatching system.'

Inventor(s) include Vivek M Chavda; Chandrasinh D Parmar; and Nishith Kotak.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A women's safety and anti-snatching system, comprising of a cap 101 and a wristband 201 coupled using embedded Bluetooth modules for immediate assistance and enhanced security during travel, an camera 102 with an IR thermal sensors monitors the surroundings and detects dangers in the vicinity of a user, a rubberized bullets defense arrangement to start firing rubberized bullets 103 on the threat, a face covering arrangement to form a thick protective barrier, a storage chamber 205 connected to a nozzle 206 sprays the attacker with pepper liquid, a microphone 110 monitors ambient sounds for distress signals that user make during attack, a PPG sensor monitors the user's pulse rate to identify sudden physiological changes, a GPS module enables real-time location tracking, a vibrator 208 to provide user haptic feedback in situations in noisy environment."
