MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073827 A) filed by Upgrid Solutions Private Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'wiring harness assembly for an electric vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a wiring harness assembly (200) for an electric vehicle (102). The wiring harness assembly (200) includes a battery pack including at least a first battery (202) and a second battery (204). The wiring harness assembly (200) includes a CAN harness (206) defined by an enclosed cylindrical passage for routing a plurality of connecting wires for enabling a plurality of connections between the battery pack and a plurality of electrical components inside the electric vehicle (102). The plurality of connecting wires are routed through the cylindrical passage for enabling the plurality of connections. The plurality of connections includes a first connection of the battery pack with a first electrical component, a second connection of the battery pack with a second electrical component and a third connection of the battery pack with third electrical component."
