According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) for charging electric vehicles is an emerging technology that enables contactless energy transfer between a ground-based charging system and an onboard vehicle receiver. This project focuses on the design and study of an inductive wireless charging system for electric vehicles using electromagnetic coupling principles. The system operates by generating a high-frequency alternating magnetic field in a transmitter coil, which induces voltage in a receiver coil mounted on the vehicle, enabling battery charging without physical connectors."
