Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Wireless Communication Method And Communication Device' Filed by Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097832 A) filed by Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Oct. 10, for 'wireless communication method and communication device.'

Inventor(s) include Li, Yapu; Luo, Chaoming; Gao, Ning; and Lu, Liuming.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a wireless communication method and a communication device. The method comprises: a first device sends a first frame to a second device, wherein the first frame is used for initiating dRU-based sounding feedback. The present application can realize a sounding procedure for a dRU. Since the sounding procedure is a necessary link in MIMO, on the basis of the present application, a communication device can further use MIMO multi-spatial streams on the dRU for transmission, thereby increasing the data transmission rate."
