MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537103166 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Oct. 27, for 'wireless communication method and communication apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Guo, Yuchen; Huang, Guogang; Li, Yunbo; and Gan, Ming.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides a wireless communication method and a communication apparatus, which are applied to wireless local area network systems supporting IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols such as 802.11be and Wi-Fi 7, and 802.11be next-generation protocols such Wi-Fi 8 and other series of protocols, and can also be applied to ultra wideband-based wireless personal area network systems. The method comprises: an access point 1 generates and sends a radio frame, wherein the radio frame comprises a multiple basic service set identifier element and a target wake time element located outside the multiple basic service set identifier element, the target wake time element comprises a restricted target wake time parameter of an access point 2 and identifier information of the access point 2, and the multiple basic service set identifier element corresponds to a multiple basic service set identifier set to which the access point 1 and the access point 2 belong. Carrying the identifier information of the access point 2 facilitates a station determining that the restricted target wake time parameter belongs to the access point 2."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 15, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/087700.
