MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527079867 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 22, for 'wireless communication method and apparatus, device, and storage medium.'
Inventor(s) include Nie, Jingjing; Ma, Yunsi; Ruan, Wei; and Ding, Guozhi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application is applicable to the technical field of wireless networks, and provides a wireless communication method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving first signaling sent by a terminal, and determining wireless channel modes supported by the terminal, wherein the first signaling comprises a first field, and the first field is used for indicating the wireless channel modes supported by the terminal; and sending second signaling to the terminal, wherein the second signaling comprises a second field, a target channel mode is indicated by the second field, the second signaling is used for instructing the terminal to use the target channel mode when sending a packet, the second signaling is sent when it is detected that an interference sub-channel is present in a working channel, and the target channel mode is one of the wireless channel modes supported by the terminal. The technical solution provided by the present application can expand the number of supportable wireless channel modes, thereby improving the flexibility and expandability of the wireless channel modes, and thus widening the application range of puncturing technology."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 25, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/074035.
