MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023167 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 24, 2024, for 'wire condition monitoring system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wire condition monitoring system, comprising a circular body 1 installed with a clipper 2 positioned over a wire attached with a plug placed within socket, a temperature sensor 3 integrated within the body 1 for measuring temperature of the wire, a speaker 4 installed on front portion of the body 1 for notifying the user to switch off power supply of the socket, a display unit 5 installed on the body 1 for notifying the user regarding charge of the body 1, a multi colored LED light 6 installed on the body 1 for blinking light as per condition of the wire for notifying the user regarding condition of the wire and an image capturing module 7 installed on the body 1 for determining the ON/OFF condition of the plug."
