MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007470 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'window pane installation device for window frames.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A window pane installation device for window frames, comprises of a platform 1 developed in a manner to be positioned over a ground surface within an enclosure, a touch-enabled screen 2 is mapped on the platform 1 to enter an input regarding location of a window frame that needs to be installed with a window pane, a camera 3 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of the enclosure, at least four motorized wheels 4 arranged beneath the platform 1 via a telescopic pole 5 to position the platform 1 to the user-specified location and height of the wall, an articulated robotic link 8 assembled with a clamping unit 9 mounted on the platform 1 to position the clamping unit 9 above the window pane, and an ultrasonic sensor fabricated on the clamping unit 9 for detecting precise dimension of the window pane."
