MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026626 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'window glass installation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Ravi Kumar Bhatnagar; Gunjan Aggarwal; Shikha Chaudhary; and Neha Yajurvedi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A window glass installation assistive device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface within a building in proximity to a window pane, a computing unit installed with a user-interface for enabling the user to give input commands for applying filler material in gap between the window pane and window glass, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for detecting exact location of the gap, plurality of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 3 with plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 to rotate for lifting and maneuvering the platform 1 around the gap, an electronic nozzle 5 configured on the platform 1 via an L-shaped telescopically operated bar 6 and connected with a chamber for dispensing the filler material in the gap in order to fill the gap."
