MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514093868 A) filed by Envision Energy Technology Pte Ltd., Singapore, on Sept. 30, for 'wind turbine system capable of starting up and operating independently of an external power grid, control method, control device, and storage medium.'
Inventor(s) include Niu, Ruigen; and Guo, Qinxin.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wind turbine system includes: a transformer, at least including a high-voltage side, a first low-voltage side, and a second low-voltage side; a wind turbine generator, connected to the first low-voltage side via a power delivery line, where a converter is provided on the power delivery line; an auxiliary electrical system, connected to the second low-voltage side via a first switch, and connected to a pre-charging device of the wind turbine generator; and an energy storage device, connected to a first grid-connection point between the auxiliary electrical system and the first switch. In an off-grid startup mode, the first switch is switched from a closed state to an open state, the energy storage device supplies power to the auxiliary electrical system and charges the converter via the pre-charging device, and the converter excites the wind turbine generator to build up an output voltage."
