MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133741 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'white light-emissive europium complexes for led devices and method of preparation thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Maredi Swetha; and Sivakumar Vaidyanathan.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a white light-emitting Europium (III) complex of formula (I) (I) wherein R1 is independently selected from -CF3 or a Phenyl group; R2 is independently selected from a thiophene or Phenyl group. The present disclosure relates to the method of preparation thereof and to the LED device comprising the compound of formula (I)."
