MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087325 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'wearable walking assistive device for slippery surface.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable walking assistive device for slippery surface, comprising a cuboidal body 1 crafted with a pair of inlet 2, a touch interactive display panel 3 for entering a type of operation required by user, an ultrasonic sensor configured on inlet 2 to detect feet, an iris lid 4 crafted within inlet 2 for allowing user to enter feet, an AI based imaging unit 5 to detect dimension of the user's feet, a motorized conveyor 6 arranged with plurality of bundles containing multiple adhesive sheets, on actuation conveyor 6 positions one bundles of corresponding size in proximity to feet, a pair of robotic grippers 7 for stripping sheet from bundles and positioning over feet portion, a pair of telescopic link 8 configured with motorized roller 9 for pressing sheet, a robotic link 10 configured with a suction cup 11 for effectively removing the sheet from feet portion."
