MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088267 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'wearable multi-sensory personal safety recommendation device for industry.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable multi-sensory personal safety recommendation device for industry, comprises of a wearable body 1 worn by a user over head portions working within an industry, a temperature sensor 3 positioned on the body 1 to detect to detect ambient temperature of the surrounding, a speaker 6 to notify the user regarding exceeding temperature, a gas sensor 4 positioned on the body 1 to detect hazardous gases in the surrounding and the speaker 6 accordingly notifies the user to leave the surrounding and a sound sensor 5 arranged on the body 1 to detect sound intensity in the surrounding and the speaker 6 notifies the user to take proper measures to prevent the chances of hearing loss of the user."
