MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541131330 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 24, 2025, for 'wearable heart detection device.'
Inventor(s) include Rodda Tharun; Dr. Vikram A S; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a wearable device designed for early detection of potential heart attacks. It continuously monitors vital physiological parameters, including heart rate and body temperature, using a pulse sensor and a DHTl 1 module. The system is powered by a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and includes an alert mechanism (buzzer or vibration) to notify users instantly when abnormal cardiac patterns are detected. Compact, wrist-wearable, and affordable, the device provides real-time monitoring and alerts, enabling life-saving action in case of cardiac emergencies in both personal and clinical settings."
