MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002314 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Jan. 8, for 'wearable health monitoring system for simultaneous blood pressure and temperature monitoring.'
Inventor(s) include Jobanpreet Singh; Kashish Saroj; and Dr. Jyoti Rajput.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a wearable health monitoring system (100) for simultaneous monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature. The system (100) comprises an optical sensor (102) for heart rate detection, a motion sensor (104) for blood pressure estimation using pulse transit time, and a temperature sensor (108) for continuous temperature measurement. A microcontroller (106) processes the collected data and displays real-time health parameters on an OLED display (110). Alerts are generated using a buzzer (114) and LED indicators (112) for abnormal readings. The device (100) operates with a rechargeable battery system (118) featuring a charging module (120) and voltage regulator (122) and provides wireless communication for remote health monitoring via smartphones or connected systems."
