MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105030 A) filed by Chitkara University; and Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation, Rajpura, Punjab, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'wearable health monitoring system.'
Inventor(s) include Varun Jindal; and Vinay Kukreja.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable health monitoring system, comprises of a strap 101 wearable around a user's chest, a band 103 wearable over the wrist, and a belt 105 wearable around the waist, the strap 101 detecting chest expansion and compression during breathing, a sensing unit 104 disposed in the band 103 detecting skin temperature, skin conductivity, and heartrate, the belt 105 incorporating a safety arrangement to safeguard the user upon falling, an IMU 108 determining user orientation and triggering the safety arrangement, an analysis module configured with a control unit processing data to identify health anomalies, and a communication module transmitting alerts to emergency contacts."
