MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105640 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'wearable device for trouser fitting simulation.'
Inventor(s) include Durgaprasad Reddy.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable device for trouser fitting simulation comprising a body 101 with a plurality of extendable plates 102 interconnected with each other via multiple hinge joint, a microphone 104 to give voice commands for trouser simulation, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 to detect dimensions of the user's legs, a drawer arrangement 106 to extend/retract, a multiple suction unit to generate negative pressure to secure the body 101 with the user's legs, an inflating unit 108 to inflate the member to provide an appearance of trouser into the user-specified style over the user's legs in view of simulating fitting of trousers, a pair of stretchable strap 109 to fasten over waist portion and a thermal imaging unit 111 for detecting any type of injury in the user's legs."
