MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105001 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'wearable device for personalized care.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Avnika Arren; Dr. Aman Azad; Dr. Sangeeth Somanadhapai; Dr. Sunil Singh Yadav; and Dr. Rita Thapa.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable device for personalized care, comprising of a reconfigurable belt structure 101 developed to ergonomically conform to multiple body parts of a user, a plurality of interchangeable herbal cartridges 102 removably inserted into the belt structure 101, the cartridges 102 are pre-filled with condition-specific herbal blends selected for targeted care, a heating module 103 integrated within the belt structure 101 and thermally connected to the herbal cartridges 102 for providing heat, a plurality of magnets 104 embedded in the belt, each magnet 104 mounted on an adjustable and rotatable housing allowing the polarity of the magnets 104 to be alternated manually by the user for deep-tissue stimulation, a plurality of vibration nodes 105 mounted within the structure 101 and positioned at user-specific pain relief points to provide mechanical stimulation to further enhance the combined alleviating impact, a thermochromic strip 106 for displaying real-time temperature feedback to the user."
