MUMBAI, India, April 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517025623 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on March 20, for 'wearable device comprising speaker.'
Inventor(s) include Cho, Joonrae; Kim, Donghyun; Yang, Seongkwan; Sim, Myoungsung; Park, Minjung; Song, Hakhoon; Lee, Byounghee; and Hong, Janghoon.
The application for the patent was published on April 11, under issue no. 15/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable device according to one embodiment may comprise: a frame including a first partition wall which has flexibility and a second partition wall which is in contact with the first partition wall and has rigidity; and a speaker surrounded by the second partition wall and including a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The wearable device may comprise a first space which is in contact with the second surface and extends from the inside of the second partition wall to the inside of the first partition wall. The wearable device may comprise an enclosure which is configured to seal the first space and includes a flexible region disposed on the first partition wall and a rigid region extending from the flexible region and disposed on the second partition wall."
