MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025972 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'wearable child control device for walking.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable child control device for walking, comprises of, a first and second cylindrical hollow bodies 1 connected with the device attached with each other via an electromagnet spring 6 to accommodate arm of a guardian and a child, a laser acuity sensor for detecting diameter of the child's and guardian's arm, an inflatable member 7 mounted within each of the bodies 1 and paired with an air compressor 4 for inflating the member 7 to grip arms of child and guardian, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for detecting distance between the bodies 1 to maintain a defined distance, a holographic projection unit 2 for projecting hologram to guide the guardian in walking on correct side of the road, and a speed sensor mounted on each of that bodies 1 for detecting walking speed."
