MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611050907 A) filed by Chitkara University, Mohali, Punjab, on April 21, for 'wearable breath analysis mask for noninvasive health screening.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable breath analysis mask for noninvasive health screening, comprising a wearable mask body 101 to be positioned over a user's mouth and nose to receive exhaled breath, a fitment assembly to secure the wearable mask body 101 to a user's head, a breath sampling flow path 104 defined within the wearable mask body 101, a wireless communication module to transmit sensor data to a computing unit having a user interface accessed by a user, a hygiene module to reduce contamination of breath samples between uses, an artificial intelligence (AI) analysis module to analyze the sensor data and generate at least one user output comprising a nutritional deficiency indication and/or a health condition indication, a health guide module to generate personalized recommendations based on sensor data and user inputs, the recommendations comprising at least one of breathing exercises."
