According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a wearable anemia detection and iron supplementation device including a wearable armlet (1) configured for continuous contact with a user's arm, a microneedle-based hemoglobin detection system (2) integrated within the armlet (1) and configured to perform minimally invasive hemoglobin measurements, an iron supplementation delivery system integrated within the armlet (1) and including an iron storage chamber configured to contain liquid iron supplements, and a control system configured to coordinate the hemoglobin detection system (2) and the iron supplementation delivery system. The microneedle-based hemoglobin detection system (2) performs weekly hemoglobin monitoring through controlled skin penetration and interstitial fluid sampling. The iron supplementation delivery system automatically releases daily iron doses from the iron storage chamber through programmable control mechanisms. The control system adjusts iron dosing based on measured hemoglobin levels to provide personalized anemia management for pregnant women."
