MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084473 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 11, 2023, for 'wearable amusement-based exercise device for toddlers.'
Inventor(s) include Sonia Verma; and Bhasker Pratap Choudhary.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable amusement-based exercise device for toddlers includes a frame 1 having two members 2 accessed by a user for accommodating feet within members 2, a wearable unit 3 arranged on a front portion of each member's 2 for accommodating toddler's feet, an ultrasonic sensor for monitoring dimension of toddler's feet, a roller 4 integrated on each wearable units 3 and wrapped with a looped strap 5 for securing toddler's feet, a microphone 6 for receiving user's voice commands regarding initiation of activity, multiple links 8 integrated amid members 2 and wearable units 3 for unbalancing toddler to perform activity, an imaging unit 8 to monitor real-time toddler's expression and accordingly regulates extension/retraction of links 8 to prevent discomfort to toddler, and a speaker 9 to produce musical sounds for amusing toddler, in case falling of toddler multiple inflatable bags 10 to get inflated for providing cushioning effect to toddler."
