MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025628 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'water tube boiler maintenance device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A water tube boiler maintenance device, comprising a curved-shaped body 1 developed to be accommodated over top portion of a water tube boiler, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 mounted on the body 1 for detecting distance between said tubes, plurality of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 3 configured with a motorized brush 4 installed on the body 1 for extending/retracting to position the brush 4 for scrubbing the tubes in view of scrapping off the depositions from the tubes, an air compressor 5 installed with an electronic valve configured with the body 1 for passing air towards the scrap for removing scraped off depositions from the tubes and chamber 6 configured with an electronic sprayer installed on the body 1 stored with nanostructured metallic coating for dispensing the coating over the tubes to fill the cracks tubes."
