MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105654 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'water tank cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Mona Jhangra.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A water tank cleaning device, comprising, a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface near water tank, with a horizontal bar 102 attached via a telescopically operated rod 103, multiple suction cups 104 secure platform 101 to surface, a microphone 105 receives user voice commands for cleaning, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 106 detects tank's dimensions, a motorized disc 107, attached to bar 102 via a telescopically operated link 108, extends and rotates inside tank to scrub inner walls with bristles 111, an ultrasonic sensor detects the tank's diameter, a plurality of telescopic poles 109 extend to position a cuboidal member 110 against tank's inner walls, a motorized ball-and-socket joint 112 positions the disc 107, an electronic valve 113 dispenses water from a vessel 114 to rinse tank, synchronized with the disc 107, a motorized universal joint 115 for providing rotational motion to bar 102."
