MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007469 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'water surfing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. D Ramya Dorai.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a water surfing device, which comprises an inflated body 1 installed with an air compressor 2 to inflate/deflate the body 1 as per a user's dimensions, an anemometer 4 to detect the direction and speed of wind around the user's body, a telescopic rod 5 attached with a propeller 6 to move the body 1 in forward direction, an AI camera 7 to capture surrounding images linked with an ultrasonic sensor to detect an obstacle in proximity of the user, a microcontroller to process the captured images to detect an obstacle in proximity of the user and a cushioned member 8 attached through a hinge 9 actuated by the microcontroller which covers the neck portion of the user to protect the head of the user."
