MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014290 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'water resistant sheet installation device for wooden doors.'

Inventor(s) include Rajdeep Singh; Rachin Goyal; Rohit Singh; and Piyush Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A water resistant sheet installation device for wooden doors, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a ground surface of an enclosure, motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 for providing movement to a body 1, a roller 3 for unwrapping a sheet 4 up to an evaluated amount, a robotic link 5 for cutting the sheet 4 from the roller 3, a chamber 7 for storing binding solution, an electronic nozzle 8 to spray the binding solution, a pair of robotic gripper 9 for gripping the end portion of the sheet 4 and pasting the sheet 4 over the door, an AI-based imaging unit 10 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1, a levelling unit 11 for levelling the sheet 4 on the door and a motorized ball and socket joint 12 for applying the levelling unit 11 over the sheet 4."
