MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311086019 A) filed by M/S Bluewatertech Services Private Limited, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 16, 2023, for 'wastewater and sewage treatment system and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Sumit Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Bio-Physical Filtration Process is a wastewater/sewage treatment method which is used to treat sewage/wastewater without any electricity usage for aeration required for microorganism for biological treatment of wastewater. This technology is easy to use and maintain. This technology required less area comparing with other electricity free treatment methods. An acceptable quality of treated sewage is achieved for disposal or reuse in horticulture. No nuisance of fly vectors, smell, aerosols, insects is seen in this technology. This technology is carbon emission friendly as no power is used for treatment of sewage. The technology is modular and portable and can be easily installed as per requirement."
