MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006200 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'waste water cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Rama; Monika Sharma; Tanya; and Satyam Tiwari.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A waste water cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 configured with multiple telescopic rods 2 provides support on a ground surface, a motorized omnidirectional wheel 3 for providing movement to platform 1, a computing unit input details regarding a portion of water surface that user desires to clean for translating wheels 3 to water surface, a level sensor detecting level of water present in proximity to platform 1 to extend telescopic rods 2 for uplifting wheels 3, followed by actuation of telescopic piston 4 for positioning of motorized propeller 5, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 determines presence of waste floating over water surface for translating platform 1 towards detected waste, a motorized conveyor 9 assembled on structure 8 in order to transfer waste from surface to a receptacle 12 arranged on platform 1."
