Inventor(s) include Raksha Adappa; and Vishwanatha.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a waste sorting and incineration system (100). The system (100) comprises a feed chute (102) for receiving mixed waste, a sorting unit (106) for classifying waste into dry, wet, and non-incinerable categories, and a drier unit (114) equipped with an air blower (116) for moisture removal. A homogenizer (120) produces a uniform feed for a combustion chamber (124), which converts the waste into ash, heat, and flue gases. A residue collection chamber (128) stores solid by-products, while a flue gas treatment unit (130) filters and cools emissions. A plurality of sensors (172) and an RGB camera (108) capture real-time physical, chemical, and visual waste characteristics. A processing unit (138) integrates modules for input acquisition, pre-processing, sensor synchronization, feature extraction, classification, drier setpoint selection, combustion evaluation, predictive maintenance, risk scoring, and output generation. A user device (168) receives alerts, reports, and charts via an application programming interface (170)."
