MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003459 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 17, 2024, for 'waste recycling-enabled manure production system.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Lalita Chopra; Diotima Bose; Vishnu Mehta; and Samrat Basu.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A waste recycling-enabled manure production system, comprises of a hopper 1 accessed by a user for accommodating different kind of waste, a first chamber 2 for receiving the waste, an electronically controlled diversion valve 3 to dispense the separated liquid and solid waste, a container 4 for collecting the liquid waste, a second chamber 5 for receiving the solid waste, a motorized churner 6 for churning the solid waste, a treatment unit 9 for processing of the churned waste, a tube 7 integrated with an electronically controlled valve 8 to dispense enzymes/metal ions, a third chamber 10 for storing the treated waste, plurality of motorized crushers 11 for thoroughly crushing the treated waste, a manure dryer 12 for converting the waste into manure."
