MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075265 A) filed by Sakuradome Corp., Fukuoka, Japan, on Aug. 7, for 'waste container.'
Inventor(s) include Shigetomi Eirin.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[Problem] To prevent the diffusion of odor to the outside from a charging port which is opened when discarding waste. [Solution] A trash can A comprises: an accommodation body 1 that has a substantially cuboid shape and is open at the top; and a closing body 2 that is to be fitted and attached to the accommodation body 1. The accommodation body 1 is provided with an opening 10 at the top, and the closing body 2 is to be attached so as to substantially close the opening 10 of the accommodation body 1. The closing body 2 has an insertion portion 21 in which a charging port 22 is formed. An opening/closing member 233 for opening and closing the charging port 22 is configured so as to be able to be accommodated in insertion members 21a, 21b."
